Sergio is correct, the set of snaps (kernel, os, gadget) comes from the
model assertion, not the gadget snap.

So, any image building needs to start with the model assertion.

What is less clear is how the image builder will know what to do about
boot loaders and other filesystem-level requirements that essentially
cover the bridge from BIOS to kernel.
