Hello everybody,
With more and more interest in Ubuntu Snappy Core we saw increasing
demand for training and requests for opportunities to learn about snappy
and surrounding techologies. What we would like to offer now going
forward is a regular, informal hangout on air, where you would:
- get to know the developers behind snappy
- learn about news in and around snappy
- see live demos of how to work with snappy
- see great examples
- ask all the questions you might have
Topics will obviously change over time, and the format will be adapted
to what works well.
The pilot for this initiative is obviously going to be about snapcraft:
our best release to date (0.2) just about to get out the door. It is all
going to happen:
tomorrow, 2015-09-23 12:30 UTC
on http://ubuntuonair.com
with Sergio Schvezov, Michael Vogt and Daniel Holbach
We'll be talking about snapcraft and how you can use it to easily ship
software for Ubuntu Snappy Core.
After the live session we are going to go back to IRC where you can
follow the general discussion, get involved and ask more questions. This
last part is actually where the "clinic" name came from: you bring your
questions and we are going to help. :-)
If you have any questions or any other feedback, let us know!
Have a great day,
Daniel
