Hello,
So I wanted to be able to run an X app over SSH X11 forwarding on
Snappy. Realizing that I didn't have xauth to make this happen I've
snapped it up and put it on my Snappy VM, but I can't seem to get SSH
to find it. I have tried setting the variable:
XAuthLocation /apps/bin/xhelpers.xauth
in /etc/ssh/ssh_config and all of the appropriate X fields, but it
still can't find it.
debug1: Requesting X11 forwarding with authentication spoofing.
debug1: Sending environment.
debug1: Sending env LANG = en_US.UTF-8
debug1: Remote: No xauth program; cannot forward with spoofing.
X11 forwarding request failed on channel 0
Welcome to Ubuntu 15.04 (GNU/Linux 3.19.0-31-generic x86_64)
Anyone have experience with this that could lend a hand?
Thanks,
Ted
