It does seem likely that the apparmor message is related; the same
second the metabin process is unable to determine how many system-wide
connections can be backed up on listening socket, another process fails
to connect to a socket with the first process's pid in the name. :)

Please do file a bug, probably against the ubuntu-core-launcher package.
