the idea is that the snapcraft tool should have a mono plugin that helps
you to roll mono based snaps (with the interpreter inside) but i doubt
anyone has yet looked into mono specifically or started any work on a
mono plugin ...

i guess mkbundle is actually your best option here for the moment ...
