Is Ubuntu Core gone?

I don't know whether this is the right mail list to ask this question.
Please kindly correct me if I'm wrong.

Today I noticed that the ubuntu core releases in "
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-core/releases/16.04/release/" are all
gone. Is this a temporary action or Canonical just stopped releasing them?
