Hi:
I guess that there is a misundertand (or the notation is obscure to me).

Plural forms in Mapudungun follows two patterns

Inanimated

0 "item"
1 "item"
2 "item"
3 "item"
4 "item"

Animated

0 "item"
1 "item"
2 pu "item"
3 pu "item"
4 pu "item"

The use of PU is compulsory when an animated item isn't preceded by a
number.

Bye
Roberto Bahamonde
