Carlos has worked on these issues, many thanks for filing bugs. The
packages have been fixed and reuploaded to edgy. All we're waiting for
is to get Carlos patch applied on the production server for these bugs
to be closed. We hope it'll happen very soon.

As for kopete, you are right: the package lacks all translation files.
We've reassigned the bug where it belongs.
