OpenOffice + Rosetta = Problem

Hi,

here is the Kurdish team again with our latest problems in using Rosetta for
the OOo translation.

I had been hoping to be able to convert the 11 po-files in Rosetta back to a
GSI-file using the translate-toolkit. Unfortunately that is not so easy.
Besides a problem with the toolkit itself (see
https://bugzilla.ubuntu.com/show_bug.cgi?id=22252 for details) I had to
realize that the big po-files that the translate-toolkit produces with the
-multifile=toplevel option do NOT correspond to the 11 templates Rosetta
uses (list here:
https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/breezy/+source/openoffice.org2/+translations
)

So what can I do to merge back the translations into one GSI file? The only
solution I can imagine so far is to create one huge po(t)-file with the
option -multifile=onefile and then merge the translations from each of the
11 po-files into that file. Afterwards I have to convert this file back into
a GSI/sdf file.

Will that work? Is there an easier way?

(In fact it doesn't seem to work for me because creating the huge po-file
makes my computer hang, but this may be a problem of my system.) Is the
procedure correct in principle?

Greetings,
Erdal
