How can I translate Blender?

There you go:

 blender (2.37a-1ubuntu1) breezy; urgency=low
 .
   * debian/genpot: Add python scripts from Lee June <blender at eyou.com> to
     generate a reasonable PO template from the sources. Since gettext is used
     in a highly nonstandard way, xgettext does not work for this job.
   * debian/rules: Call the scripts, generate po/blender.pot, and clean it up
     in the clean target.

The POT file is far from perfect, but it contains all user strings
(and some more, which are not actually meant to be translated), but I
think it's a good start.
