When Launchpad was announced, anyone could translate into any variant of
a language. This was a big mistake, as it sparked translations like the
one you're seeing, when in most cases, only a general one is needed. For
new products, you can't do this anymore, but we haven't removed the old
country-specific translations, as it's hard to know which should be kept
in the general translation.
Hopefully we can cleanup this soon enough in the future, though.
