oops... misunderstood that :)

My take on this...
have 3-5 categories... each category should be color and symbol coded
The colored symbol should be in front of the name of the app and maybe the name of the app should be on a background of the same color as the symbol's color...
Next... have some tabs at the top of the page that would allow for an easy selection of the category.
This is for the user part of the UI...
for the maintainer.... I don't know.... maybe a list with the projects and 3-5 buttons to change the priority...
