Hi,
I am very pleased to announce that Jordi Mallach has joined the Rosetta
team. He will be working with translators and people who work on free
software projects to help them make the most of Rosetta.
Jordi's main responsibilities are:
- Importing new products into Rosetta as needed
- Showing people how to update products and translations
- Answering questions about using Rosetta
- Creating new translation teams for new languages.
Daf and I will still answer your questions and assist you when needed,
but as you already saw, from time to time, we are a bit busy focused on
development so the idea is that you will have always someone that would
help you if you need it.
Jordi will take a look to the pending requests we have, if you don't get
input from one of us after next week, please, resend your request so we
are sure we didn't miss it.
Also, we want to note that Jordi will be working only partial time so
would not be available all time to answer your questions, so we
encourage you to send your doubts and questions to the Rosetta mailing
list so we don't miss it.
About Jordi Mallach:
Jordi is a Debian developer and one of the most active translators for
Catalan. He manages the Ubuntu Catalan team and has been helping Rosetta
development with input from his experience as translator and
coordinator. You can reach Jordi at jordi at ubuntu.com
Cheers and thanks for using Rosetta!
