synaptic translations

Hi,

Looking at rosetta webpage i can see that synaptic project is a
translatable application but where are the strings already translated
? Aren't previous translation being considered by this tool ?

synaptic (0.55+cvs20041213-1ubuntu1) contains a lot of translations
including for example my native language (portuguese brazilian) but
rosetta website shows done: 0 strings and todo: 617. Many of these 617
strings were already translated, if not all of them.
