  * init scripts update:
    + stop only known daemon instance to avoid terminating processes
      in LXC containers (Closes: #669268).
    + use only Debian policy compliant LSB logging functions.
    + better messaging & minor code cleanup.
    + messaging to respect rcS(5) VERBOSE variable.
