Alessio,
I've been reviewing your recent work, and the discussion surrounding
your application, and had a some questions for you:
1) There have been a couple comments during your application regarding
your responsiveness to discussion regarding potential packaging changes.
Could you describe the means by which you are expecting to discuss any
potential changes with other developers when you no longer work through
sponsors?
2) Your recent merge of ghc6 introduced a smallish haskell transition.
How is that progressing? Also, how is the effort to build a team to
help with haskell maintenance proceeding?
3) I've been looking through your work, and find quite a variety of
things. Could you pick a few examples of uploads of which you are
particularly proud, and explain why you feel proud of them?
4) We all make mistakes, and I'm sure there's at least one or two of
your patches that were rejected. Could you reference the bug for one of
these, and explain why the patch was useless, and how the situation was
resolved correctly? If you've never had a patch rejected, cold you just
pick the patch that required the most rework to be applied to Ubuntu
instead, and comment on that process?
