I have not sponsored many of Alessio's patches. After looking through
my emails, I was only able to find 4 merges of Alessio's that I had
sponsored (LP: #309794, #311126, #314307, #314562). The merges were,
aside from some very minor issues, of good quality. On all of the
merges, there was a build log attached, which shows that Alessio is
willing to take the extra time to ensure that all of his merges work
properly before uploading them to Launchpad for review. My one concern
about Alessio is that although I gave him the same advice on several
of his merges, he failed to follow the advice or even acknowledge it.
Although the advice was not critical, I am still concerned that he did
not even acknowledge it, as learning and accepting advice from other
developers is a valuable skill to have. However, based on
conversations that I have had with Alessio and the effort he put into
ensuring that all of his merges built properly, I am pretty confident
that if the advice I had given was anything really important, he would
have acknowledged it. Therefore, he has my support for becoming a
Master of the Universe. Keep up the terrific work Alessio!

Sincerely,
Nathan Handler (nhandler)
