Universe Contributors Application for Alessio Treglia (quadrispro)

Hi everyone,

My name is Alessio Treglia ([1] and [2]), I'm member of Ubuntu since
May 2008 and this is my application to become an Ubuntu Universe
Contributor.

I live in Aprilia, a city near Rome, in Italy, I'm studying Computer
Engineering in the Department of Information and Automation of the
University of RomaTre; I also work as GNU/Linux consultant and Python
developer in a small IT company in Rome (Mondoweb).

I've started to contribute to Ubuntu development about 6 months ago,
during Intrepid cycle, without any precise goal but I've tried to get
experience in most of the development processes, through merges,
syncs, fixes and SRUs, with 25 uploads. I don't work on a specific
area of development, I follow a few packages as ikiwiki and afbackup,
I try to fix some packages mainly based on my technical skills but
sometime my choices are fully random, often I focus my attention on a
package only because its name is interesting or exciting :)

I've developed Installation Report Generator [3], a small tool which
helps user in gathering informations about his hardware and software
configuration, in order to prepare an installation report, according
to the template [4] of Ubuntu Italian Community's wiki [5].

Now I'm working with Andrea Gasparini to the next release, which
should provide more than only one backend, in order to be useful for
the most large number of LoCo teams as well. I've just uploaded the
application to REVU [6] and I hope it will be imported in Ubuntu soon.
