I mentored and sponsored a lot of his work on ebox, various server
packages, server-related SRUs, and a lot of other things.

He took on sophisticated tasks with enthusiasm, drive and good idas,
is a quick learner, has lots of technical competence, and his
packaging skills improved a lot, to a degree where I trust him to do
the day-to-day stuff on his own and know when to ask the community and
other developers for opinions.

I would welcome to see him getting the -core-dev badge.
