Thanks for clarifying your plans.  From sporadically observing
#xubuntu-devel/Freenode, will you also encourage potential MOTU who have
demonstrated actively an interest in Xubuntu to work on it?  Because
Xubuntu does not, to my knowledge, have a Canonical employee devoted to
it, to help ensure the continuity of the community-led project, it needs
an influx of developers and maintainers.

Based on your clarification and this observation, I'm comfortable
offering a +1.
