All,

Please remember Mir has retained protocol/socket level compatibility for 
a long time now. What this means is that a client/server built today on 
lp:mir should be able to connect to a server/client from previous 
releases. The behaviour is not related to ABI levels.

Unfortunately this is a hole in our test automation that hasn't yet been 
filled. So just be aware of it...
