ppa:mir-team/staging has bricked my laptop

Workaround:

1. Ctrl+Alt+F1 on the never-ending boot screen and log in to the console.

2. Make sure you have working network connection. If not then:
    a. startx
    b. Ctrl+Alt+T
    c. gnome-control-center
    d. Click on Network and get an internet connection.

3. sudo apt-get install lightdm/raring

4. Reboot.
