This is really useful -- thanks for sharing (and I wonder how many of
these useful things you have up your sleeve?)

We're going to start looking into tools to mass-import and -export from
MAAS, and I'd like to centralize this effort and take advantage of work
that's been done already. There is some overlap with the tool you've
provided, since we'll need the hardware data to build the model that we
want to import. I'd like this ideally to use an API library, but if
that's not yet ready for use, then we can prototype as you have.
