MAAS 2.1 is now deprecated!

Dear All,

I'm happy to announce that MAAS 2.2 has now replaced MAAS 2.1.

This marks the deprecation of MAAS 2.1, and the MAAS team has now stopped
providing bug fixes and/or new upstream point releases. Users are urged to
upgrade for the latest bug fixes and to enjoy new features. MAAS 2.2 is now
available in the MAAS stable PPA:

*ppa:maas/stable*

*What about Ubuntu archives?*
We are in process of SRU'ing (backporting) MAAS 2.2 into Ubuntu Xenial's
archive. We will announce its availability once the process is complete.
