DHCP for Subnet:

Hi There,

This sounds like the Rack Controller does not have NIC's connected to the
appropriate fabric/vlan combination in order to provide DHCP. In MAAS 2.1,
you need to have the rack controller directly connected to the VLAN in
order to provide DHCP.

This however, has changed in MAAS 2.2 (currently beta2). MAAS 2.2 beta 2
introduces the ability to work on DHCP relay environments. Please see the
documentation for MAAS 2.2
https://docs.ubuntu.com/maas/devel/en/installconfig-subnets-dhcp#dhcp-relay
. If you have any further questions, please feel free to use this channel
or find us in freenode at #maas.
