Can we be a little lazier on that point?  Presence of a feature tends to 
get a little fuzzy at that resolution ("supported as of revision X, 
practically usable as of revision Y, made suitable for your use-case as 
of revision Z").

Maybe there's some more coarse-grained versioning that would work better 
for the PPA packages, such as an approximate release date?
