[Maas-devel] Request for comments: updated MAAS metadata format

Oleg Strikov has been doing a lot of work on MAAS's new metadata
format, for conveying to MAAS what boot resources are available. We've
been discussing it in a small group, but it's ready for wider
criticism now. I've attached a dump of the thread.

We need to agree on this soon, so please speak up soon if anything's
been overlooked. If you have suggestions that can wait until next
cycle without causing major rework, please hang onto them for now;
this needs to be implemented without delay.
