<br>Today, 3 battery applets, two Notepad, and two of something else. Still no lightdm log in; no suspend--goes to blinking boot cursor . . . have to shut down to get back from suspend. And, the "add'l drivers" app opens a "Software & Updates" window frame only . . . it's transparent . . . nothing visible inside . . . . Fan blowing a lot just with web browser and Mail open, and Notepad . . . . <br>

The machine I had the 'jagged' (tearing) graphics on had an old
Intel graphics card, and it mostly works with Lubuntu 14.04, but is
barely fast enough for UbuntuStudio (XFCE) 14.04.<span class="HOEnZb"><font color="#888888"><br>
