When you talk about lightdm so much, that is why I thought you
meant lightdm, rather than the lxsession-logout dialog.<br>
That is why I suggested SLiM, as it preforms the same
functionality as LightDM.<br>
<br>
and for the desktop file, I was showing you the part of the file
that contains the editable portion. You could change the bold
line to a diferent executable.<br>
something like gnome-session-quit<br>
though I am not sure if that will work or not. lxsession-manager
is 'gnome-session-manager'<br>
so it might just work...<br>

<div>I haven't specifically asked NoMachine about the issue with
shutdown without permission through lightdm, but I suspect
that they would (quite rightly, if you ask me) say that it is
an issue in lightdm, not an issue in NoMachine. I think the
problem is that lightdm expects to be the one to iniate a
remote login, if a remote login happens. With NX there is a
different daemon that facilitates the login. Lightdm would
then think that anybody logged in, not through a remotely
iniated session through lightdm, is a local user, that should
be allowed to shutdown/reboot. Thinking more about it, I think
I will go and file a bug against lightdm. The developers can
then either dismiss it as a non-issue, or implement a fix :)</div>

Hi, don't want to butt in but my google search about
NoMachine on LXDE<br>
brought me to this thread. Have you contacted NoMachine to
see what they say<br>
about this. Perhaps they can recommend or advise
appropriately?<br>
