<div class="moz-cite-prefix">Hi!<br>
Because nm-applet autostarts, and you tell it to autostart. So
you get two....<br>
You can probably run as many as you want to, which might have some
real world application...<br>
but it may be that the programmers never anticipated anyone trying
to run 2 at a time.<br>
<br>
Potentially you could have some update script that runs, and looks
to see if the user has two, and then removes the workaround.<br>
But, hey it works, that is awesome enough!!<br>

Julien rocks!<br>

I first noticed this in the past week or so when after a
round of updates, I had two instances of nm-applet
running.<br>
<br>
So everyone who installed workarounds for those can now
remove them.<br>
<br>
Perhaps this has already been noted in the list. If so
it escaped my attention. Anyhow, some things bear
repeating.<br>

Thanks, Julien!<br>

<br>
Thank you for pointing that out. I was wondering why I had 2
instances of the network applet.<br>
<br>
I removed my customization, and now I only have one.<span
