<div dir="ltr"><div><div>Thanks for the feedback. I have completely removed Zeitgeist and so far Lubuntu 13.10 appears to be working for me. It was consuming resources( albeit minor ) but on a netbook everything counts!<br>

</div></div>It's not in the default install so it must be a dependency of something<br>
else you installed. Removing it may therefore impact whatever that<br>
something was. Irrespective of that, though, I removed it and<br>
everything works *for me*.<br>
