(+) I have never had a browser related crash by Chromium - I use both 32bit version of Lubuntu on my netbook and the 64 bit one in my laptop. I have flash installed, but click to play for plugins. (-) Firefox consumes by default more screen estate than Chromium. (-) Chromium is somehow tingly connected to Google, but at some extent so is Firefox by default. You can tweak both not to send any data to Google. If really a concern than use SWIron fork instead on Chromium. In short, I think all people that use Lubuntu have their own idea on what apps to use. On every Lubuntu update I have to uninstall most of what you guys provide.
