I can alter things using: sudo add-apt-repository But I would prefer to use the Synaptic panel option or via the menu item 'Software Sources' I downloaded the Debian Package Search program from the Lubuntu Software Center. The Software Sources program crashes every time I use it & the Synaptic panel option Settings>Repositories appears to be working i.e. the 'spinner' spins but to no effect.
