One important thing to take note of in my earlier reply, is that for most backups, I don't use online services. I noticed (later) that you were asking about online services. <BR>

I use an external hard-drive (Seagate, USB, 300 Gig), that I plug into a USB 2.0 port. Using that method, you do need to be very meticulous about unmounting your drive before removing it. <BR>
