I got that same result from the System Profiler immediately after the<br>
upgrade.  But now, after upgraded and updates installed, the system<br>
profiler works without problems.<br>

Are you running the latest release or 12.04?<br>
I can't update to the latest distribution because I've got a non-pae CPU.<br>
