After support is running out in October 2013 a good solution is to point the last remaining ones to Puppy or another suitable distro. </div>

<br></blockquote><div>I've got a Dell laptop D505 with an Intel(R) Pentium(R) M processor 1500MHz.<br>The processor itself was launched in 2003 and I got my laptop in 2005.<br>So, my laptop is only 7 years old.<br>Lubuntu prides itself on being able to run on low-spec computers so it seems strange to me that a seven-year-old laptop will be rendered too old in the near future. :(<br>
