I haven't tried it yet but I'd fully expect the kernel to either convert from non-pae to pae or fail altogether (likely not the latter since they install 'ubuntu-minimal') but it would break boot for those with a non-pae machine. I'd also expect an X freeze because the lightdm greeter was not properly changed, and less importantly the plymouth boot screen will barf.<br><br>I may be too stupid to use a decent email client but I'm NOT a
stupid person!<br><br>Now, this is just why I told PhillW and Ali a long time ago that I didn't want to mess much with email lists. <p>If you don't "remove Ubuntu" you don't get a pure Lubuntu install. You'd get all the packages installed by ubuntu-desktop eg. gedit.</p>
