I'm using those apps with Ozone3 (Lubuntu default) theme with no issues. If you mean the mouseover effect ist's working, with Lubuntu + Ubuntu and on Lubuntu only machines.<BR>

Why is there that some apps don't obey to the theme? (12.04) This happens clearly with audacious, evince and transmission. This behaviour was present in 11.10 too for me but used to think that it was due to some bug about duality ubuntu/lubuntu installed on my machine since in my secondary machine didn't do that (pure lubuntu 11.10)
