[lubuntu-users] Activating a swap partition

I have since found https://help.ubuntu.com/community/SwapFaq

I checked /etc/fstab and the swap partition was listed in it.

I ran this command:
sudo swapon --all --verbose

And got the output:
swapon: /dev/sda1 already active - ignored
