I think this is a gross simplification that is more appropriately
described as the 2 things *YOU* want.

We always provide graphical solutions to install software but the Ubuntu
Software Center is not a standard part of the install. You can always
install it.

This is probably the most controversial of all the things you have
brought up because the modern web is anything but fast, safe, and easy.
If you want that, use a text browser, but then most sites will be
entirely unusable.
