You are of course welcome, although I am not sure what your response
has to do with what I posted! *puzzled*
What I was saying is that you can re-install Win10, a new clean copy,
so long as you have the product key.
This is a lot easier than trying to back up or restore it.
Extract the licence key with this:
http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/product_cd_key_viewer.html
Keep it somewhere safe, on paper, or in a cloud drive.
Download a copy of the Win10 DVD image here:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10ISO
Keep it somewhere else, off the PC.
You need to do these steps from Windows, before you begin. You can't
do it from Linux.
Burn the ISO to a USB key or something in case the installation goes
wrong, then you can use them to repair Windows.
