[lubuntu-users] "Software" and Ubuntu One?

Can anyone find/install GIMP from the "Software" software? That's another
one I always installed without any complication. But, it doesn't even
appear in "Software."

I found GIMP in Aptitude.

I remember replacing Lubuntu Software Center (LSC) was posted to the list.
It's late to have this sentiment. But, I think it would have been better to
have nothing (use Aptitude) than replace the unsupported LSC with this
"Software" tool. As far as I can tell, people will have to use Aptitude
anyway (after being frustrated with "Software.").

Or, is it just me? Can others authenticate for LibreOffice (or, preferably
not even have to authenticate)? Do others see GIMP?
