Jack, et al:

On both of my PPC 16.04 installs, Lu on a G4 iBook, and MATE on a G4 PM . .
. I get this same "output" data . . . and it takes awhile of waiting . . .
and then, very slowly the log in window appears in GUI . . . . Other
people on the Apple user sub-forum were experiencing this, or similar data
giving "i2s" problems . . . and they thought it wasn't booting . . . .

So, possibly that might be what might be happening ??? If you just let it
sit there . . . it might "figure it out"??? Of course, all the usuals, the
md5sum number checks out properly??
