I agree. For example at

http://www.ubuntu.com/download/ubuntu-flavours

the link should point to the correct Lubuntu web page. We have asked 
Ubuntu (Canonical) to change it, but it has not happened yet. It is very 
difficult to get links outside our control to be changed, but let us 
keep trying.

I'm happy to read that Lubuntu 16.04.1 LTS works well for you.
