[lubuntu-users] Faulty Install

Hello, my repair Guru has just installed the latest version of Lubuntu, 
I have used Lubuntu for years it is terrific. There is just one problem.

When the O/S goes in to standby mode and the password has to be entered 
to regain access, the curser disappears off screen and I have to switch 
the computers power off and reboot to get it working again. Can you 
offer advice, so It can be fixed.
