Lubuntu Xenial Xerus Alpha 1 released

Just wanted to let you all know that we have [officially released][1] the
Alpha 1 milestone of Lubuntu Xenial Xerus 16.04 LTS. We managed, with a
little help from the Ubuntu MATE team, to get PPC released, too!!!

Make sure to read the [release notes][2] are there are several papercuts to
notice. No showstoppers, though!

This is (hopefully) our last release before LXQt so let's get these bugs
destroyed this cycle.

Thanks to all community contributors for your help, especially our [top
testers][3] like Simon Quigley, Brendan Perrine, Nio Wiklund, and several
[Google Code-In][4] students!
