Hmm ok, let me explain...

Oh, come on. Stop kissing googles big fat behind. :-)
it's not about registration, it's about logging the fist hit of a new
mac-address into the biggest privacy collecting database on planet-E

I don't think Google is paying a single penny. And that doesn't even
matter. Privacy should NEVER compete with corporate money.
And it is not even paranoia since it is a fact that google makes
profiles of EVERY user, even unregistred users. Just everyone.

That you may not care that shouldn't put our privacy at risk.
And that someone does care, in this case me, that could improve you
privacy. Just don't kiss big money's big bottom when there is no reason
to do so.

Once Google changes it's tune then you no-longer need to call people
like me 'paranoia' but until then I will use me freedom of speech to
remind others when privacy is at risk.

And if i do something stupid that is bad for someone's privacy i EXPECT
no less then slapping my face and point me to my mistake.

We all make mistakes, and progress is in the correction of those
mistakes.

Google may pay any amount of money to Canonical. But that does not mean
that canonical has to sell our privacy to Google.

The future is about online privacy. Canonical should know that by now,
if not, then this was the reminder of it.

I hope I was not to blunt, i just care about privacy for everyone, you
included. Unfortunately I don't have the skills to create my own
privacy, and that's why i share my worries about this stuff.

Google's intentions may be good, but the road to hell is paved with good
intentions. We need more then intentions.

To some I now may sound like a paranoid freak, to others I may just be
someone who cares for it's fellow man.
For myself I merely share my observations and hope for simple
improvements.

Using a search engine that does not track people instead of one that is
famous because of it's tracking. seems like a VERY simple solution.

Just replace 1 link. from Google.com to something else that has more
respect for it's end-user.

That was all I intended to ask. Though i hope this little post gives
people more insight in the philosophy behind privacy.

No hard feelings, you may thank me in a couple of years once you realise
my concerns.
