[lubuntu-users] Can live USB version number be included at boot?

I have a collection of multi-coloured USB flash drives from Amazon that I
use to put operating systems / live boot images on, kept in a transparent
pencil case. I have a piece of notepaper for each flash drive that states
what the contents of a particular flash drive are. It is useful when
dealing with Lubuntu "daily" release images :)
