AW: Autostart an application when user logs in

Hi Goustam,

The autostart directory for a user is set by default to ~/.config/autostart.
In this directory you can place .desktop files that either call a script or an application. (You can either see the documentation on these desktop files online or use one of the already installed ones as template. See /usr/share/applications for a list of them)

I hope that helps.

Greetings
Leszek

Betreff: Autostart an application when user logs in

Hi,

I wish to autostart an application for a particular user by executing a
couple of commands, please suggest the process. Please note, this
requirement is for one particular user only and cannot be at the global
level.

Regards,
Goutam
