[Lubuntu-qa] Installing Lubuntu 14.04.2 into computers with low RAM

If I can recall, lubuntu 14.04.2 will not be released do to some kernel issues.

The Lubuntu alternate iso files seem broken right now. I wanted to check
alternatives to install into computers with low RAM, so I downloaded the
corresponding mini.iso (i386 with the 3.16 kernel) via

made a minimal installation, rebooted and installed lubuntu-desktop. The
network behaved properly after I tweaked it according to

I think this is a working method to get Lubuntu 14.04.2 LTS into old
computers, but lsb_release -a still 'says 14.04.1'.
